2024 Calendar Wall Hangings | Entries due by September 26, 2023
We’re continuing our annual tradition of challenging you to design calendar wall hangings and tea towels, a popular go-to gift each holiday season.
It’s time to imagine what possibilities a new year can usher in, and that may be a starting place to inspire a theme for your entry. The art you create is entirely up to you and if you need a calendar file to get started, click here!
Have a calendar tea towel design from last year in your design library? It can’t be submitted for this weekly challenge as you must create something new for each challenge, but it’s a good reminder to upload a revision with 2024’s dates for future customers. Cheers to a new year!
Entries will be previewed on a wall hanging. Submissions close September 26 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Voting begins September 28. Winners will be announced October 5. See official rules.

Pantone Intangible Tea Towels | Entries due by October 17, 2023

I have 2 kitchens and the pantone pallet tea towels would not look good in either. How about a pallet with some energy!
Hi Peggy!
The idea of two kitchens sounds pretty divine! If you’re looking for a different palette on Spoonflower than the one in this challenge, searching for the colors (i.e., either one color you’d like to incorporate or several!) of designs you want to see can be a great way to find designs with just the energy you have in mind!
Best,
Betsy

Can you use different levels of opacity for the Pantone Intangable challenge as long as they are the proper colors?
Hi Jadzia!
Thanks for your question! I checked with Jessie Katz Greenberg on this and here’s what she had to say, “Artists can use different tints (Pantone color + white) but should not layer transparent colors, creating new colors entirely. The key is to highlight the Pantone palette and their suggested color harmonies.”
Hope that helps!
Best,
Betsy
