Andrea Tsang Jackson of 3rd Story Workshop is a textile artist, quilt designer, author and educator. After working in various design fields and settings ranging from architecture to museums, the quilting medium called to her as a way to explore place, belonging and agency. Andrea lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with her husband and two sons.
Michael Gardner is a proud Father, self-taught sewist, life-long crafter and DIY enthusiast. I’m also known as “Ava’s Dad”. I can usually be found exercising my creative abilities. He is also a 2022 Spoonflower Ambassador.
I started working at Spoonflower in 2012, and still pinch myself every day to have found a company that values self-expression, creativity, and making art accessible just as much as I do. I'm passionate about advocating for the crafty community we've built here at Spoonflower, and am driven to help create and support content that fuels creativity.
Rumana is a doctor from London who uses sewing and crafts to unwind and destress after a long day. She shares her passion for crafting through her Instagram and blog, The Little Pomegranate, and is also a campaigner for increased diversity within the sewing and craft communities.
Betsy loves to think about how making, specifically through craftwork, helps people grow, connect and heal. Starting in 2003, she popularized craftivism, sharing how craft and activism work together to help people worldwide share their voices, stories and big emotions. She loves hearing and learning about how what we make with our hands helps us show up with authenticity, empathy and curiosity, making the world better for ourselves and others. Anna is a self-taught sewist and cosplayer who joined Spoonflower’s Brand Marketing Team in 2021. In her free time, she’s either stitching together some new products for her small business, binging some sort of animated series, or snuggling with her 15-year-old cat, Mina.
A Spoonflower Ambassador since 2021, Tracey is an interior stylist and plant whisperer who loves to create wonderful spaces in her home using vintage and unique finds. She considers her style to be MoClectic Bohemian- A true eclectic bohemian with a modern vibe. Tracey is a wife/mother/grandmother who enjoys coming up with cool ways to repurpose and revive pieces and make them look like a million bucks!
Back in 2009 Alexis graduated from High Point University with a B.A. in Studio Art. Afterwards, she went on to attend North Carolina State University, receiving a Masters of Art + Design with a concentration in Animation and Interactive Media in 2015. In the summer of 2021, Alexis transitioned to working as a UX/UI designer which allows her to apply her love of graphic and interactive design to creating authentic user experiences. You can currently find Alexis working as a Senior UX Designer at Spoonflower.
Suz runs our Email and SMS Text Marketing program here at Spoonflower, and the wordsmith behind much of the copywriting behind our brand. She received her BA in English and Art History from University of the Pacific, and her Masters Degree at Georgetown in Communication, Culture and Technology. Suz spends most of my free time cooking while chasing twins, a baby and a Carolina Dog around the house.
Mathew is a 2022 Spoonflower Ambassador, polycraftual maker, designer, teacher, anti-racist activist, dad, husband and queer-positive champion of approachable crafting and inclusive spaces.
Jessie Katz Greenberg is Spoonflower’s Artist Community Manager on the Brand Marketing team. She fills her free time by creating craft videos, interviewing creatives on the Craft Hangout podcast and hanging out with her husband, two cats and two hermit crabs at her home in New York City.
Robert Mahar is a Los Angeles-based artist, designer, maker and embroidery enthusiast who teaches clever do-it-yourself projects and develops imaginative craft inspired products. He’s also a proud alumni of the inaugural season of NBC’s crafting competition show Making It with Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. With an education in studio arts and art history, he has worked in a variety of creative fields including 13 years as an appraiser of modern and contemporary art.
Meg is a pink loving, apparel sewing, flower fancying maker, living in Northern Virginia with her partner and three kids. Ever the hobby collector, she can usually be found with fabric, yarn or watercolors in hand! She is also a 2022 Spoonflower Ambassador.
Alex is Spoonflower's Manager of Photo and Video, and resides in Durham, North Carolina with his cats and plants! In his spare time, Alex loves cooking, playing basketball, and shooting portraits of friends and small businesses. "One of the greatest things photography has done for me is force me to not to hide behind the camera but to use it as a tool for conversation, collaboration, and creation."
