Sun’s out, tongues out! What would it look like if your pet went on a vacation getaway?

This week, include in your design dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and more on a dream vacation! Are they going to the meow-tains? Will they see tail-wagging waves at the beach? Have they been invited to the coolest pool paw-ty in town? Or are they simply having a sit-staycation? Show us what your pets are up to!

Create a whimsical world in wallpaper!

This week your challenge is to create something playful hidden beneath the surface of your wallpaper design. Think fairies hidden within a bold floral, or a traditional damask pattern created entirely of macaroni. While designing, imagine your whimsical work bringing a touch of the unexpected to someone’s walls.

Entries will be previewed on a roll of wallpaper. Submissions close February 28 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Voting begins March 2. Winners will be announced March 9. See official rules.

Passementerie: ornamental trimmings such as tassels, braids and fringe made of cord, beading or metallic thread.

It’s time to explore the world of tassels and trims, and trust us, there is a lot to explore! Tassels alone have been around for centuries adorning garments, home decor and textiles. They can serve as talismans of protection, symbols of status or a way to add sophistication to your personal style. How will you bring the details and textures of these ornate accessories to life in your design?

Entries will be previewed on a 21″ x 18″ fat quarter. Submissions close March 7 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Voting begins March 9. Winners will be announced March 16. See official rules.

Step into a bedroom garden of beautiful florals and lush greenery.

Design a dream garden that anyone would be delighted to grow. Will you include colorful botanicals? Fluffy and full bushes and trees? Edible plants like tomatoes and peppers? Or maybe all the above? Keep duvet covers in mind as you design—how much of your garden can you fit on an entire bed?

Entries will be previewed on a duvet cover. Submissions close March 14 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Voting begins March 16. Winners will be announced March 23. See official rules.

For this challenge, design for the walls of a traditional and luxury Italian villa.

In the 14th century, the Italian villa was a big country home which stood at the heart of an agricultural estate. These houses quickly became the pursuit of entertainment and leisure, and represented an escape from nearby busy streets, noise and crowds. Historically, clean and contemporary color palettes were popular to decorate with to focus on the natural beauty of the space and the environment that surrounds it.

Design some wallpaper for an Italian villa, whether it’s to emphasize the beautiful architecture and culture that these homes already have—or maybe you want to transform a modern wall into something magnifico!

Entries will be previewed on a roll of wallpaper. Submissions close March 21 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Voting begins March 23. Winners will be announced March 30. See official rules.

One Grand Prize Winner each week will receive $200 in Spoondollars. The winner will also receive additional exposure in our email newsletters and social media mentions.

The 2nd place winner will receive $100 in Spoondollars.

The 3rd place winner will receive $50 in Spoondollars.

4th through 10th place winners will receive a $20 Spoondollar credit.

Each of the top 50 entries, determined as set forth above, not receiving one of the foregoing prizes will be automatically proofed for sale in the Spoonflower Marketplace (approximately a $5 value) (the “Runner Up Prize”) if winners are verified sellers.
