Petal Signature Cotton® Solids is our collection of 100% cotton solid fabrics that make it easier than ever for makers to color coordinate their favorite Spoonflower designs. This week, create a design that utilizes the colors Honeydew, Lilac and Sky Blue to use alongside the Petal Solids fabrics. (Note: Our Petal Solids were sunset in June 2023. However, you can find these colors in the Spoonflower Marketplace under these hex codes noted below.)
Our Research & Development team worked hard to identify RGB hex codes you can use that perfectly match our Petal Signature Cotton Solids: Honeydew (#D4E88B), Lilac (#A6A3DE) and Sky Blue (#A7C0DA). Imagine this cool, pastel-toned palette in used in bedding set or a pillow collection when coming up with your design.
Artists must use 1, 2 or all 3 colors from the provided Petal Solids hex codes colors Honeydew (#D4E88B), Lilac (#A6A3DE) and Sky Blue (#A7C0DA). Additional colors are ok to use, but we recommend keeping it simple with no more than 4 colors total (not including black and white) to ensure your design coordinates well with the solids. For examples and past winners, check out our past Petal Coordinates challenges: Candy, Joy, Cozy and Calm.

This week, we’re celebrating our inside lives and the comfort of spending time in our homes doing the hobbies we love. Whether it’s baking, embroidery or indoor gardening, show us your favorite in-home pastimes in your design. What supplies are laid out on the table as you work? What is the end result? What visual elements remind you of your particular hobby? We’re excited to see what you do!

You could go kitsch, classic, or “cottage core” for your design aesthetic–the key is to think back to the past as your inspiration to design a cozy kitchen wallpaper that’s sure to stir up old memories.
Entries will be previewed on a roll of wallpaper. Submissions close May 17 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Voting begins May 19. Winners will be announced May 26. See official rules.
