I have loved fabric, fiber, sewing and creating since I was a child. I was probably the only kid in school who was excited when the teacher said we were going to have to do a "project.” This love led to a degree in Apparel and Textiles and a career as a designer for a large infant bedding manufacturer.      I ended my formal career to raise my family. However, I was able to return to designing textiles in 2014 when I discovered Spoonflower. Since then, I have been designing, selling and licensing my designs on Spoonflower and freelancing. The focus of my designs include nature; team sports and recreation; the charm and tradition of my home state of South Carolina and life in the South.
