I said in my last post how great it is to basically have a cool new fabric shop in my house every week. But do you know another benefit of this job? Getting acquainted with all of you out there in the crafting world. I can’t tell if it’s because sewing and crafting attract people who are just naturally nice, or if there’s some sort of unspoken code that requires everyone be helpful, friendly, and supportive in the extreme. An example: In our inbox just yesterday, we got a note from Clara at Mimi Kattini.
I just had to email you all to wish you all much success!!!! I haven’t
been this excited about a new company or idea
since…well…hmmmm…ummmm…I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited before! You have no idea what you all have just started…well, I suppose you do, but seriously—-it’s bigger than that!!!! Lots of (((HUGS))) coming your way!!!!
This is just one of many such emails we’ve received over the past couple of weeks. Whether it’s genetic or cultural, Stephen and I both feel very fortunate to be on the receiving end of all the kind words, effusive blog posts, linky love, and offers of help. Please keep your troubleshooting comments coming as we continue to work out the kinks. Our huge thanks goes out to all of you!
