We love a good year end round up post. So much so, in fact, that it was hard for us to narrow down all the things we wanted to share. We settled on a smattering of our favorite blog posts, designs, and happenings in Spoonlandia. We’ll revisit big news for us from the past year (hint hint, the launch of our second sister company, Roostery, definitely makes the list) as well as fabric launches, design trends, and more. Let’s dive in!
Blog posts that make our hearts sing
While these aren’t just from 2016, these are the posts we keep coming back to again and again. No matter how many dresses we make or pillows we stitch together, these are the projects that stay in our minds and in our crafting rotation year-round.
Still one of our all-time favorite projects, these tea towels are the perfect personalized gift. Not only are they easy to stitch up, but since they’re made from a fat quarter, they’re affordable, too. We made a video tutorial this year to help people create their own tea towels, from designing it in Photoshop to hemming it up once it arrives printed and pretty from Spoonflower. If you haven’t checked them out yet, now is the time. Ahem, now would also be a good time to ask you to subscribe to our Youtube channel, if you haven’t already! We have a team working hard to keep bringing you helpful tutorials just like this one on a regular basis.
