Me-Made-May is here! The month-long sewing challenge created by Zoe Edwards was designed to encourage people who sew, knit, crochet, refashion and upcycle garments for themselves to wear and love them more. The great thing about Me-Made-May is that it means something different to every sewist, including the Spoonflower community. We are excited to be celebrating with giveaways, 16 ways to wear the Stasia Dress and Top from Sew Liberated, DIY tutorials and a bonus discount from Closet Case Patterns.
If you’re new to Me-Made-May (welcome!) be sure to revisit our interview with the challenge creator to get the inside scoop on the hashtag that’s inspiring us all.
Me-Made-May 31 Yard Giveaway

To celebrate the sewcial challenge, we’re giving away a yard of fabric a day for all 31 days of May. To be entered to win a yard in the design of your choice, post your me-made outfits featuring Spoonflower fabric and tag your photos with #SpoonflowerApparel on Instagram (don’t forget to tag @spoonflower too.) Photos must be posted between May 1 – May 31, 2019 to be eligible to win. We’ll randomly pick a new winner each day and will notify you via Instagram direct messages at the end of each week. Winners will also be announced publicly on Spoonflower’s Instagram stories and saved in our highlights (so you can bask in the glory all year long!)
Me-Made-May with Spoonflower + Sew Liberated
In addition to a 31 yard giveaway all month long, 16 Spoonflower team members will be sewing the Stasia Dress and Top from indie-pattern company Sew Liberated. Fun fact: Sew Liberated is based in Durham, North Carolina just like the Spoonflower HQ.
We’ll be sharing their makes on May 27 and you can join in on the sewing celebration by making your own version of the Stasia Dress or Top at home. Be sure to tag your photos on social media with #SpoonflowerStasia so we can see your version.
