Spoonflower x East Fork: Common Ground 

Rooted in North Carolina traditions, Spoonflower and East Fork are taking historical trades tied to their regions and reinterpreting them with innovation, infusing them with meaning and story. 

East Fork—creating pottery in the Blue Ridge Mountains—is tied to the land, dependent on the clay soil to bring their pieces to life. Their evolving and covetable glaze colors modernize their craft while their B Corp and Climate Neutral certifications speak to their forward-thinking nature. Spoonflower honors the history of textiles in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, while reflecting the vibrant technology hub of Raleigh and Durham.

Spoonflower and East Fork are partnering throughout 2023 to celebrate the launch of East Fork’s newest glaze colors. The partnership centers around three Spoonflower Design Challenges, inspired by East Fork’s forthcoming glaze colors. Winning designs will have a chance to be printed on tabletop items that will be featured in Spoonflower’s Pop-Up Shop within East Fork’s retail locations throughout the year. 

Behind Spoonflower and East Fork are a sense of place, and stories of people. The clay from the ground, the hands that brought the shape into being; the linen printed in Durham, the artist that dreamed the design. As our partnership unfolds, pull up a seat at our table and join us.
