Get to Know Red Paddle Co and Their Customers

We’ve been finding new ways to make paddle boarding easier and more enjoyable for more than a decade. Our award-winning inflatable paddle boards are designed to perform for everybody, regardless of age or ability. Our innovative, super-stylish boards are packed with leading technology that is subjected to extreme testing to prove their reliability and rock-hard rigidity—nothing else on the market comes close in terms of design and manufacturing quality. There’s literally nothing quite like a Red Paddle Co board.

Nobody sweats over the small stuff as much as we do. We don’t simply make cookie-cutter boards and slap a logo on it. In fact, we’re the only paddle boarding company that operates from its own private facility. Every board we create is taken on a journey from raw material, all the way through to production.

Now, more than ten years on, Red Paddle Co is a brilliant community of passionate paddle boarders from all over the world. Our aim is to make the very best products and to support the paddle boarding community in any way we can.

At Red Paddle Co, we aren’t just in the board-making industry – we’re in the industry of delivering experiences and creating memories. We want to get as many people out on the water as we can, in the safest and most reliable way.

We’re part of a wider community and we’d love you to join us.

World Waterways Design Challenge Theme Details

This week, we’re challenging you to create a design celebrating the variety of waterways passionate paddle boarders from all over the world have grown to love.

Find inspiration for your repeating pattern from beautiful bodies of water like Lake Wanaka in New Zealand, Mexico’s Banderas Bay, or your favorite river in your neck of the woods. Their beauty captured in your creative designs will highlight the importance of preserving the oceans, coastlines, rivers, lakes, marine life and ecosystems so that future generations can enjoy and treasure our one blue planet.

The winning design, handpicked by Red Paddle Co, will receive a $500 cash prize and be featured on a Limited Edition Stand Up Paddleboard coming next year ($1,299 value)!

Important notes about your World Waterways Design Challenge Entry:

The winning design will be limited to no more than four colors during Red production so please limit your entry to no more than four colors. The four colors includes any background colors, white or black. Due to the nature of Red manufacturing, your design challenge entry should also be non-directional. The Red Paddle Co team will work directly with the winning designer to get their repeating pattern ready for Red’s manufacturing process.

Want to see how your design will look on one of Red Paddle Co’s Stand Up Paddleboards? Download our mockup files to check it out!

Note: This mockup is just to see how your design will look if it was on a paddleboard. For this challenge, we are looking for a repeating pattern design. Do not upload your paddleboard mockup file.

Entries will be previewed on a 21″ x 18″ fat quarter. Submissions close June 1 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Voting will last two weeks and begins June 3. Winners will be announced June 15. See official rules.

  • You changed the terms of this contest after it opened. It never stated repeat pattern it was for the white section of the 10\’6\’ ride.

    • Hi Cheryl,

I’m sorry for any confusion. While we did add some clarifying language to the prompt to specify a repeating pattern, we did not change our terms and conditions. All of Spoonflower’s Design Challenges are for repeating patterns unless otherwise stated. Please see our full terms and conditions here.

      Rule 6, section C:
“Once uploaded, you can use the contest entry page to edit the repeat style of your fabric design. Please proof the size and layout of your design carefully. Please make sure your design is repeating. Do not choose the ‘centered’ layout option.”

Please let me know if you have any questions.

  • Hello,
I have a question about the four colors. Is it including white or four colors plus white?
    Thank you
    Sarah

    • Hi Sarah,

Thanks for your interest! White would be included as one of the four colors.

Best of luck with your design,
