Me-Made-May is here! The month-long “gentle” challenge created by Zoe Edwards of So Zo…What Do You Know was designed to encourage people who sew, knit, crochet, refashion and upcycle garments for themselves to wear and love them more. While Me-Made-May will certainly look different this year than it has in the past, Zoe hopes the annual challenge provides the virtual community support you’re looking for while staying at home.

“Many of us are spending so much more time at home in our pjs or lounge wear, feeling lonely and miserable and not at all ourselves. Maybe a gentle, ‘light’ version of the Me-Made-May challenge IS what some of us may feel we need right now?”
– Zoe Edwards

The great thing about Me-Made-May is that it means something different to every sewist, including the Spoonflower community. We are excited to be celebrating throughout May with giveaways, 23 ways to wear the Zadie Jumpsuit from Paper Theory, tips and tricks for mixing and matching patterns and a bonus discount. Keep reading to find out how you can join the fun!

Me-Made-May with Spoonflower + Paper Theory

For the third year in a row, Spoonflower team members (23 of us!) will be sewing the same pattern to highlight how you can customize any sewing pattern based on your fabric and design choices as well as your own personal “hacks”. This year we are excited to be spotlighting a community-favorite, the Zadie Jumpsuit from Paper Theory Patterns.

We’ll be sharing our team’s makes at the end of the month and you can join in on the sewing celebration by making your own version of the Zadie Jumpsuit at home. Be sure to tag your photos on Instagram with #spoonflowerapparel, #memademay2020 and #zadiejumpsuit so we can see your version.
