Mixing patterns and textures from illustrator Katherine Quinn, Brittany’s Vintage Lace Quilt is just the right amount of playful and polished.

The crisp hand in Petal Signature Cotton makes it a perfect choice for structured tops like the Simplicity S8889 Button Up Shirt. To take her style to the max, Danesha paired the pattern with Blue and Magenta Painting by katiekortman for a show-stopping shirt. Hello, wardrobe staple.
Andrea’s Striped Scallops Quilt featuring her own designs and textured linen coordinates is a modern quilt with ample negative space providing an opportunity to show off your quilting. The illusion of curves without sewing curves is a bonus for quilters who consider themselves confident beginners.
Katie Kortman has done it again! Adding to the list of me-mades we need in our closet, Katie put the petal to the metal and tested out the signature cotton with the Zadie Jumpsuit of our dreams. Katie’s bold Green with Peach Dashes design highlights Petal’s crisp, eco-friendly inks which result in a vibrant, wash-safe color.
Mommy & Me Leopard Summer Top with Brittany J. Jones
What do you get when you combine domesticate’s Summer Yellow Leopard design, four yards of Petal Signature Cotton, California weather and the sewing skills of Brittany J. Jones? Obviously the perfect mommy & me matching outfits. The vibrant yellow leopard print lends itself to a statement shirt but when paired with a coordinating dress worn by her daughter, the fierceness (and adorable-factor) is on a whole other level.

It’s no secret Kristy Lea has mastered the art of foundation paper piecing and one look at her Arctic Song-inspired quilt will have you asking how she does it. To test out Petal, Kristy put her paper-piecing skills to the test by incorporating text into the design featuring Cynthia Frenette’s whimsical patterns and her results speak for themselves: “I had zero issues FPPing with it, or mixing it with other quilting fabrics. And there are some teeny sections in this piecing—still no issues.”
