If you’re not quite sure what SEM stands for, it’s OK. Spoonflower’s very own Search Engine Marketing Analyst, Lindsey, is here to help! When she’s not spending her time strategizing unique ways to get the word out about Spoonflower, she’s spending time with her two cats, Mike and El (and her husband!). Get to know one of Spoonflower’s newest team members in our next Meet Spoonflower interview.

The first thing I want you to know about me is: I handle paid search marketing for Spoonflower, and have been a happy member of the marketing team for five months!
My secret talent is: Songwriting. I have been writing songs since I was 10 years old and have been in too many bands to count! To this day I still record melodies in my phone as they come to me – even in the middle of the night! My brother and I were in a band during our college years (I sewed and screenprinted all our merch!), and I’m still holding out for that one day when we’ll make it big. 😉
The very first thing I do in the morning is: Say hello to our two kitties and give them a little love! I also rehydrate first thing in the morning to help my body wake up naturally and (through the sleepiness) take a moment to express gratitude for a new day!

The last book I read is: Does a cookbook count? I have an ever-growing collection of beautiful, inspiring cookbooks that I can spend hours reading. 🙂 I have particularly enjoyed Ruth Reichl’s My Kitchen Year: 136 Recipes That Saved My Life. She is the former Editor of Gourmet magazine and shares intimate stories of her life after Gourmet went out of business, as well as how she turned to the kitchen to get her through those tough times. The recipes and photos of her home and her surroundings in her remote cabin in upstate NY are beyond gorgeous!
