If you’ve been hanging with us for a while now, you may remember Janet (printer with an appetite for destruction!) and her blog interview from five years ago. It’s been a while since we learned about Janet and her love of candy corn, so we thought we’d check back in and reintroduce this lovely long-time Spoonie to our community!
The first thing I want you to know about me is:
Watching the 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as a kid made me want to work in a factory. I think that probably says a lot about me as a factory manager.
My secret talent is:
Coffee machine whisperer.
The very first thing I do in the morning is:
Check the print backlog on my phone. It’s a little geeky, but I like seeing how much yardage we have to print each day and how much got printed the night before. We love to celebrate a big print day.
The last book I read is:
A Feast for Crows by George R. R. Martin. Valar Morghulis!
The last song I listened to is:
“Follow you, follow me” by Genesis.
I take my coffee:
Black. Someone once told me that if you drink your coffee black you’ll never be disappointed if you run out of cream and sugar.
To come up with zany ideas for fun morale boosts around the office, especially during the holiday season. This year we created a giant Spoonflower-themed picture Bingo board and hung it on the wall in Operations for everyone to play!
I’m really proud of:
My print team. They work so hard every single day.
The podcast I never miss an episode of is:
Not a podcast listener!
My favorite Spoonflower designer is:
My favorite type of fabric is:
It’s impossible to not cuddle the Minky. I invite you to try.
My favorite design in the Marketplace is:
Print this on Minky: “Deer hide fabric and wallpaper in taupe” by Willowlanetextiles
We know what we’re ordering on Minky for woodland-themed Halloween costumes next year! Ready to meet more Spoonies?
