Día de Muertos (Mexico’s Day of the Dead) kicks off on October 31st and rages on until November 2nd. Traditionally, southern and central Mexicans would celebrate & honor the deceased with sugar skulls (or calaveras) made of brightly colored sweets and flowers. We asked designers to interpret the iconic and sweetly macabre calavera last week. Browse their designs below, and get a jump on October’s renewed Weekly Design Challenges!

Fabulous designs. Normally they are clickable links but that’s not working. Is it just me (iPad) or did you not add links? I want to show my love!
It could just be your ipad — we’ve checked the links and they are clickable!
No joy from my laptop either 🙁
In fact some are, and some aren’t!
D’oh! this has been corrected 🙂 We loved your design, too!
Thanks, all working now! And thanks again 🙂
