It's been an exciting couple of months since our last update on what's happening in our European office in Berlin. We're still hard at work and have a lot ahead of us, but wanted to give y'all another peak into what we've accomplished and what's still to come.
Orders to Europe, Africa and the Middle East are now shipping from Berlin–yay!
You may have noticed a few changes on the website that affects users outside of the US, specifically the checkout process! We now have an internationalized checkout that allows customers to select from four currencies eliminating currency exchange costs for paying in Euros, Great British Pounds, Australian Dollars and US Dollars. Business customers now have the ability to input their VAT number. Currently you must choose standard shipping and pay via credit card to take advantage of the new checkout, but we're working on more updates to make this accessible to everyone!
So what's next?! We're working on further internationalization of the site. This means more currencies, ways to pay, and languages. The plan is to continue to roll out new features to the site over the next few months. When you're ready to check out, you'll have the option to select from a few payment methods other than credit. So stay tuned for more exciting changes coming your way.
We're also finishing up the office here in Berlin-Neukölln and are starting to give tours. Interested in coming by? Shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a tour. And keep an eye out for events held in our snazzy new space. We will be inviting our community in to see how their fabric gets printed and get to know the Berlin team.
