Leanne Thiessen is an Illustrator from Winnipeg, MB (Canada), and the owner of Paper Canoe: a fabric and paper company. Her passion for art stems from a very young age, a childhood filled with camping, canoeing, loving and respecting the outdoors – where she draws much of her inspiration from. A mother of soon-to-be four children, her designs are often created with Littles running around or drawing right beside her. Her illustrations aim to amplify the beauty in things with simplicity, and often have a nostalgic, modern edge. She loves Spoonflower as an outlet, and gets much joy from seeing what talented Makers create using her designs. Follow Leanne on Instagram @papercanoedesign and check out her work at papercanoe.ca.
