The Siblings Together quilt drive is underway for this summer, and you are invited to help! Siblings Together is a UK-based organization that provides brothers and sisters separated by the foster system an opportunity for quality time together at camps and outings. At the end of summer camps, children are presented with a specially-selected quilt to commemorate time spent with their siblings–a memento to remind them throughout the year of their incredible experience with loved ones.

The Siblings Together Flickr group is the hub of information for being involved with this incredibly special effort, and there are so many ways you can help, from sending fabrics and blocks to quilters to donating finished quilts.

Finished quilts need to be between 50” and 80” square or any combination in between. Quilts are for children between the ages of 7 and 18, so no baby fabrics.  Think bright colors and fun prints!

Quilt blocks or abandoned tops are also welcome. Currently, Churn Dash Blocks are needed for girls’ quilts, and more information is available via Lily’s Quilts.
