Let Kona® Cotton Ultra Introduce You To A New World Of Color
We're excited to introduce Ultra-Color technology to Spoonflower! We're rolling out a brand-new process that offers bright, rich color that will knock your socks off.
We're adding Ultra-Color to our popular Kona® Cotton. The fabric itself is not changing, we're just making rainbows more rainbow-y, suns sunnier, and blacks a deeper and richer tone. And that's not all, our brand new Kona® Cotton Ultra also has better wash durability, so your colors stay more colorful, for longer. Read more about this new fabric, or start designing and shopping today.

So – how does this effect orders already printed and approved on other sub-straits? and if the fabric isn’t any different, then what process is making the colors brighter and/or darker? The designers need to know which color map to use and if it changes their designs.
I’ve updated the post with all the design information!

Anyone know the rest of them?
What designs are used in these pictures?
I’m hoping everything gets rolled out soon. It’s a bit difficult to deal with two very different results, especially when the same design is printed on every fabric offered. I’m really thrilled about the better colors and durability, and I think the fabric will be beautiful! I’m just hoping all the bases will roll out with the Ultra printing quickly.
Will there be a new Color Map? Or is it advisable to print V2.1 to see how it looks on the new fabric?
Huzzah! Love how Spoonflower keeps improving their product!
Will be interested to see how the new Kona cotton wears.
Oh that’s so disappointing! I just had a bundle of fabric arrive looking very drab on normal Kona when I could have had it on this a couple of weeks later.
Hooray. I haven’t bought any fabric in a while because the color fades horribly. Hopefully this will be better and I can get some designs I have had my eye on. You should do a free swatch or something so we can see how good the product is.
