To kick off May's blog series dedicated to Renter Dec — projects that are both beautiful and fully removable — today we are sharing a project from Gwen Whitfield, the blogger behind The Bold Abode, who made a unique update to her plain staircase using wallpaper swatches from Spoonflower.
Inspired by Gwen's creative project, we are giving away 15 wallpaper swatches (each of which are 24" x 12") to inspire you either to update your own staircase, or to tackle another home dec project! One lucky winner can choose wallpapers from the marketplace (like Gwen), or create her own designs. Spoonflower's eco-friendly wallpaper is removable, PVC-free, durable, and self-adhesive — just soak in water and apply!
To enter the giveaway, fill out our entry form via the link below between now and Tuesday, May 7th, 2013. We'll announce a winner on Wednesday May 8th, 2013. Last week's winner of Evivart's custom wedding print is Amanda Young. Congrats, Amanda!
Thank you so much for sharing my stairs. I adore Spoonflower and have been so happy with this project!
Cute idea on the stairs. Great way to add color!
Oh, the chevron is mine! I’m so excited to see it used in this project. This looks amazing!
Oh, MGTerry! That pattern literally pulled this entire project together! It’s such an amazing pattern and I’m so in love with it!
It was a great idea. Though it does require you to have stairs which aren’t fully carpeted (quite rare in the UK, I think) and which have physical risers between the steps (whereas the trendy places just have treads and no risers).
