We're very excited to congratulate Patty Sloniger of Houston, Texas, winner of the Project Selvage competition. After many thousands of votes and weeks of hard work (by voters and designers), Spoonflower's fabric-loving community has selected Patty's Backyard Baby collection as the one they most want to see in on the shelves of quilt shops around the world next year. Patty will become a licensed designer for Michael Miller Fabrics, and Backyard Baby will be one of at least two collections by Patty that will be announced at the fall Quilt Market in Houston in October. We are incredibly pleased and excited for her, as well as grateful for the astonishing talent shown by the other finalists and the terrific community of designers who participated in the first round of the competition. Thanks, too, to all of you who joined in the voting process! If you think we should do this again next year, please be sure to drop us a note on the Spoonflower Facebook page.
