Ready to vote again? Doll Panels, Round 2

OCT 29, 2009 updated May 30, 2016
Just a few of the 37 entries this week are pictured here

Ok, after some good feedback on a flawed voting process last week, we've decided to experiment with the way we handle voting during weeks when we hold semifinal rounds. Instead of having to choose a single favorite design per page, you can vote for as many — or as few — as you want. This week we've spread 37 designs over three pages, and on each page you can 'check' all the designs you really like and then move on to the next page. The vote totals will obviously be much higher, but everyone will get a chance to vote for designs they like without being forced to skip over one excellent design in favor of a slightly more excellent one. That's what the finals are for, right? We still plan to take the top five designs in the voting and run them against the top five from last week for the final round. Vote here.

The contestants in round two of our doll panel-themed fabric of the week contest are:

  • Some of the designs are available for sale and some are not. If you click on the links to the designs in the blog entry, you’ll either land on an ‘explore’ page –which means that the design is viewable, but not for sale — or a ‘fabric’ page that will allow you to buy the design.

  • Cinda,
Voting in the contest is open to anyone, but each person can only go to the voting page once. If you voted for a design by clicking it, your vote will be counted.
If you wish to order a swatch of one of your designs, you can do that through the Spoonflower site. If you're just looking for unprinted swatches of the base fabrics, just submit a request for samples along with your address through our contact form:

  • I was wondering if this is open to the public to vote too! I didn’t sign in to Spoonflower and I was able to vote. Does that count? I didn’t remember hitting the submit my votes button so I thought I’d better try and vote again but it said I had already voted too! Just wondering if the public is allowed to vote. I also had sent YOU an email to see if I could send a check for swatches and haven’t heard from you! Please let me know! Thanks! Cinda Rae Oliverio aka TurquoiseCro aka Cro (hehe)

  • I was just trying to vote for week 2 of the doll panel designs. Since it was taking awhile to load, I stepped away from the computer. In the meantime my daughter closed the window. Now when I try to go back and re-load in order to vote, I get a message that says that I have already voted. Is there anyway for me to actually vote for this week’s entries?
    Thanks so much,
