Looking for a quick, easy and interactive update to your tired craft table? Spoonflower crew member Allison visits the blog to share how she updated her art room table using coloring book inspired Woven Peel and Stick wallpaper!
My three boys—Jackson (8), Dillon (6) and Maddox (4)—just love spending time in our art room. Collectively, it really is our happy place. The old wooden top table in our space has the marker and paint scars to prove it.
I was hailed “Super Mom” the day I revealed the newly-reclaimed art space to the kids and was exalted to “Best Mom in the Whole Wide World” the day they got home from camp to find our dingy tabletop transformed by designer Diane Frazier’s “Color Me Floral” coloring book design on Spoonflower's Peel and Stick Woven paper.
It was simple to install and an absolute blast to color. I hope you have as much fun as we did!
Warning: Be prepared for a letdown on your part and that of your kids’ once it is all colored in. And know that the pleading for a new tabletop design to color will begin.
Note: We found success coloring the paper with Sharpies and other art markers from Staedtler and Uchida.
