Thanks so much for your feedback, Jessie. We’ll definitely work on our prompt-ness for our next SpoonChallenge. I’m so glad to hear you’ve been able to draw some inspiration from the prompts despite the late-in-the-day emails.
I was really, really excited about this challenge, because Spoonflower has been a source of great ideas and awesome weekly contest themes. So I was really looking forward to participating and seeing your wonderful community come alive with ideas. This challenge has helped me in so many ways, and has encouraged me to pick on the ole pen and paper up again.
But with an Instagram following to the tune of 14,000, and a Facebook following of over 121,000, plus whatever you have on Twitter and Google+, you’re kinda lacking on your promptness. And what I mean by that is that you typically don’t post the daily prompt till well into the afternoon, and even then, that time fluctuates. I know you have followers from all over the world, but I still don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to post earlier in the day. Plus there’s the issue of not posting all the prompts on Instagram. I’m really not trying to be negative here, because I really have been enjoying this challenge. I just think with such a large community, there needs to be more efficient involvement on Spoonflower’s end.
I know how hard it is to run a digital/social campaign, because when I was in the workforce, I worked by myself as the advertising manager, graphic designer, and social media coordinator for a small grocery store chain, in Houston. Now I work part time from home and run PR for my husband’s business. So if in the future, you would like to run another campaign, I would like to extend myself and my talents to help ensure that it can be as successful as it can be!
