Spoonflower's 12 Days of Giveaways, Day Six: Win a set of Spoonflower Color Maps & Color: A Natural History of the Palette

Welcome to Day Six of the 12 Days of Giveaways in which we eschew geese-a-laying in favor of something much more practical: color maps. We're offering a full set of Spoonflower color maps, one on each of the different types of fabric we offer.

A color map is an essential tool for using a digital design service like Spoonflower because it provides a reference for how colors on your computer screen look in the real world when they're printed using Spoonflower printers and Spoonflower inks.

Just for fun we'll also send the winner a copy of a nifty book called Color: A Natural History of the Palette by Victoria Finlay. This one is on our Christmas list, too!

Day Five of our 12 Days of Giveaways brings us to one of our favorite crafting books by one of our favorite crafty people, Diane Gilleland of CraftyPod. For Day Four of our 12 Days of Giveaways, we've decided to send one lucky person a Bamboo Capture digital drawing tablet, a tool that allows artists to draw and create directly on the computer easily as well as to manipulate and correct digital photos and scans of hand drawn artwork.

Go Fly A Kite Fabric - Check out the top ten in this week's design contest

The top ten fabric designs in our kite contest are terrific, but the winner this week is Belgian designer Ine Beerten, who goes by Zesti on Spoonflower. Zesti won our carousel contest a year or so ago, but she was also a finalist in the Project Selvage competition.
