Spoonflower's' 12 Days of Giveaways, Day Nine: Colette Sewing Handbook + 3 yards cotton silk

Day nine in our holiday giveaway series bring us to one of my favorite new sewing books, The Colette Sewing Handbook by Sarai Mitnick, owner and designer of Colette Patterns.

This beautifully crafted handbook features vintage-inspired patterns with simple and elegant details. Each of the book's five patterns (like the sweetly named Meringue skirt, and Pastille dress) is figured as a project, and offers fine fit and finishing techniques tailored to each garment.

The winner of today's giveaway also receives three cotton silk yards in Sarai's Spoonflower fabric design, Aqua Starburst. Featured below in the Jasmine blouse available on Colette Patterns, the print is also a lovely fit for the handbook's flutter-sleeved Taffy Blouse.
