Designers this week were asked to work on a pattern for sewing a jack o'lantern-themed plushie (toy, pillow, etc.). The field of entries is a bit smaller this week than in recent contests, making for relatively quick voting, which is good because some of these patterns warrant a close look to appreciate the detail that went into them. There are some outstanding holiday craft projects, a few of which I hope we'll have time to sew up for you before the email next Thursday.
