Something wicked this way comes....

 

While the tree leaves remain stubbornly green here in NC, the Spoonflower Flickr pool is beginning to show the first signs that fall and Halloween are indeed on their way.  A few jack-o'lantern plushies have cropped up in preparation for our upcoming contest, and some decidedly autumnal--and amazing--lampshades are there, too.  My favorite discovery, though, might be UK designer Monda whose "Ghost Face" fabrics are shown above.  Her toothy ghosts are what first caught my eye, but you can browse her Spoonflower shop--and her fabric photos not yet added to the Spoonflower pool--for lots more fresh, non-spectral designs.  I'm definitely keeping tabs on her!
