Upcoming fabric design contest themes: fireworks, butterflies, skirt patterns, roller derby & coffee
If you haven't checked lately, we've got some fun Fabric Of the Week contest themes coming up that include another palette-limited contest and one for a cut & sew pattern. I'm most looking forward to the coffee fabric contest, personally.
- Fireworks. This is a contest for fabric designs inspired by fireworks. No centered images, please. Deadline for entry is June 28, 2011.
- Butterflies (palette-limited). This is a contest for fabrics using butterflies as a design motif,
with the colors in the design limited to the colors visible in the palette on our contests page. No centered images, please. Deadline for entry is July 5, 2011.
- One-yard skirt pattern. This is a contest for a cut & sew pattern for a skirt that fits onto a single yard of fabric. Design should be set up to be centered. Preview will be sized at 42" x 36", although your actual design may fill a yard of one of our wider fabrics. May be a pattern for a child's skirt. Deadline for entry is July 12, 2011.
- Roller derby. This is a contest for fabric designs inspired by the sport of roller derby. Design should repeat (do not center). Deadline for entry is July 19, 2011.
- Coffee. This is a contest for fabric designs inspired by coffee. Use no more than three colors in your design. Design should repeat (do not center). Deadline for entry is July 26, 2011.
