Vote for your favorite Art Nouveau fabrics!
One thing we've learned over the past few months is that designers love a palette-restricted fabric design challenge. Something about having to work within a set of constraints makes the creative impulse that much stronger. The results are apparent in the 84 designs that appear in our Art Nouveau fabric contest this week, which required the use of the palette pictured to the right (with white and black as options). In the past we haven't made any effort to weed out designs that did not employ the suggested palette, but this week we did make at least some effort to remove any that strayed from the guidelines in a way that was very obvious. We haven't made any attempt to decide what's really "Art Nouveau" and what isn't. That will have to be up to you! Voting will close on Wednesday, March 24, at 5pm EST, and we'll announce the winner the following day.
